Brazilian Body Circuit, Buttylift, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Boxing
Born in Rio de Janeiro, creator of the Brazilian Body method that gave rise to the academy, 30 years dedicated to the study and improvement of physical education and sport. Also he´s black belt third degree of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. It brings together four pillars in its classes: Resistance, balance, mobility and strength.
Mix of several techniques in a single class, functional training, cross fit, located gymnastics, pilates, muscle isolation, stretching, yoga and others.
Helena has danced her way to her favorite countries in Europe, North America, and Southeast Asia. Dance and movement are the biggest constants in her life. Contemporary trained she left the stages at the age of 30 and started a multidisciplinary path, blending her dance experience with the Pilates method and Yoga asana. During the following years, she discovers the world of Acrobatics and Contact Improvisation which leads her to teach and experience movement from a whole different perspective based on connection, communication, and trust. Currently based in Bali, she is building a community around this blend of movement practices open to everyone. Helena is a 3rd Generation Certified Pilates Instructor.
Pilates also is known as “Contrology” is a method of exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility, muscular strength, and endurance movements. Pilates emphasizes proper postural alignment, core strength, and muscle balance. At our classes at Brazilian body we will also work on active flexibility and spine mobility. Improve your quality of life and your performance in the rest of your physical activities.
